Good for you. But I will tell you one secret, do not look at the visit look at the money you are able to get out of it. It depends if you are able to make 100 dolars with 20 visits, or with 2 000 visits. I know there is a difference between the niches out there, but thats exactly why the money is a better measurement.

So keep getting good traffic from google and try to make as much as you can out of it

I have a website that is generating 100 unique visitors a day but it almost impossible to monetize from it because of the stupid keyword I have chosen!

The lesson I have learned from that: Always look out to target "buyer keywords" and not keyword that look easy to rank for but after all the time and effort are worthless!

    Greetings,
    Keepfaith

That's sad to hear. I found it other day from Market Samurai, "It takes the same effort to create a business that fails, compared to a successful website"

I am no near those figures in my money sites, but hopefully this time I am on track

I get about 200 uniques a day to my 2 websites. Conversions are ok but nothing great. Most of the traffic comes from unusable sources.

    Depends on the site.

On a bigger blog I'm getting 2k uniques a day.

On my newest one, 125 uniques a day, hoping to grow this one soon!

IMHO, the number of visitors is secondary to targeted traffic. Sure, you need "eyes on the page" but they have to want what you have to sell.

I don't get that many visitors. maybe 100 to 200 unique per day on most sites. But as Adam pointed out having targeted visitors who want you are selling or showing is better than having lots of traffic. I think a factor also is the stickiness of your site. Do people stay on it for a while reading and looking and lurking? Those folks are more likely to click something sooner or later. I have about 20% of my traffic staying for 5 minutes or longer. some traffic is much longer. (of course this could be people who have walked away leaving their computer on and the browser resting on my site, but probably not continuously..)

Conversion and targeted visitors is very important. Most of my blogs are getting medium unique visits (200+) as i am targeting only adsense that will be cool.

Niche and targeted visitors are important.

      Conversion is where it's at.

I dropped a Google ad campaign for a site which seen a drop in 2000 unique per month, yet the rate of conversion didn't differ...

700-900 uniques a day, but it's a very new website and it's growing pretty quickly so that won't last long.

Yeah focus on how much money you are making, traffic is a vanity metric and easily attainable in niches like wallpapers and gaming.

Still nice work keep it up!

An average of 1.5 visits per day. And I don't mean 1.5 thousand, I mean 1.5. WTF am I doing wrong? It's an online casino review site, (yes, i know, massively competitive, but I didn't know that when I started out), with about 200 pages, and I try not to think about how much I've spent on SEO. Oh well.

Article marketing = free publicity, and you'll spend nothing.

Know the feeling. I'm frustrated with the low rates some of my sites get, even when I practise; Forum Marketing, Article marketing, SEO and several other tactics.

I'm pretty sure that the content is OK too.

My priority at the moment is to find better ways to generate more targetted traffic, or I'm wasting my time.
