How Do You Bold the Title?

I've been a warrior for a long time and feel like a newb by asking but how DO you bold your thread's title?

Thanks

John

The bold titles simply mean that there is a new post in that thread.

Nope, I did not. I tried to just bold the Title when I edited my post. It looked good in the edit screen but wasn't bold in the forum listings

New post theory doesn't seem to be working either.

      Anyone else?

Whether or not the title appears bold on your screen has nothing to do with anything "done to the title": it's determined by whether or not there's content unseen by your browser within the thread. Click on a bold one, read the thread, and then go back to the list of titles, re-load the page and you'll see it's no longer bold. I think.

Brian's right. If you mean the title of your thread as it appears on the "home" page of the Main Forum, it's bold if someone has replied AND you haven't clicked on it to read the reply.

As soon as you've visited the thread - to read it or to reply - it reverts to normal weight on your screen.

If something other than that is happening it could be a problem with your browser. Try another browser and see what happens.

You can't do anything about it as this is something that is not in our hands. You see these things work like mails and stuff. An unread post will be default and once you have read the post it will no longer remain bold.

Ha hA very funny. By the way Titles are bold automatically. And If you have replied the thread then title of that thread will look simple at your side and will become bold as soon as someone else have added new reply.

There is no rich text editor for topic titles. They are meant to be a simple listing of topics.

The only thing you can do to draw attention is use all caps, but most people (including me) will not click on that. The exception would be if it is someone I have a lot of appreciation for.
