What would you do to increase traffic here

This is my site Home « Carol Finlayson – How To Be Happy started last year but looked horrible until Rosetrees from here got her fabulous mitts on it and made it look so much better and function miles better.

I bought a wso that helps get it up the google ranking

I have a facebook page with a good following and a lot of my traffic comes from here but still I am only getting about 40-50 visitors a day

what would you do to increase traffic to it.

I saw a wso offer for keywords and wonder if I should invest in better keyword research?

Last week I submitted a article to enzine and it has been approved.

I am off to a Tony Robbins Seminar tomorrow in Italy and when I come back I know I will be even more motivated to make this work.

If you can give some advice I would be really grateful

    if you can master search engine optimization then you can get a constant stream of highly targeted traffic.

    Also consider some PPC ads for some quick and targeted traffic.

    Hey Carol,

    You're on the right track.

    Good keyword research and article marketing can certainly help but since you're using Facebok, try connecting with as many people as possible and participating in your niche. Follow some people on Twitter and begin @'ing with them. Networking takes some time and patience but you can do it!

    Social networking sites like Facebook , twitter and google plus is the best field to get traffic if you properly utilize this , do some seo on related sites may be that will be also helpfull to you

    Hi Carol, Great looking site - and have fun at the seminar (I'm going to take my family to Italy one day)!

    One other possibility outside of SEO and article marketing would be to get active in some Forums related to your niche - there are bunches! Find those that are the most active, and get involved - looks like you already have a great handle on how to use a forum, so it should be a piece of cake.

    When working on your organic listings (SEO), I would focus on just a few low to mildly competitive keywords Try keeping your content targeted around a keyword group of 5-6 phrases to start. Once you find yourself in the top 1-3 pages of Google for those, move on to another group - maybe just slightly more competitive. Each group will build on the relevance of the last.

    Continue posting great content on a regular basis that is keyword rich (1 - 3%), and you'll see things start ramping up in no time.

    thanks guys, I found another thread with some great info too. The forum is so brilliant. I just read to not post more than 3/4 links to my blog on pages I have liked on facebook so I dont get banned. Glad I read that !

    I will keep working really hard on my fb page. My keyword had a good stats when I do an exact search but I am not sure if its a profitable keyword can anyone can help me find that out. I have made 3 sales using clickbank affilate links.. so I can see patience and determination are key.

    mhpuvis Cheers thats great advice too... do NOT miss Italy its the most wonderful country in the world. I know Tony Robbins is going to take my focus and beliefs sky high ! I will def focus on one keyword at a time, I did buy a wso to help me get up the google ranks !

    Article marketing! Write articles and place backlinks and build the quantity of good domain names that are showing links (dofollow) to your site!

    Carol, I would start by offering a free download such as an ebook on your page to help your list building.

    Other ideas are:
    - Twitter
    - Youtube
    - Posting your articles on article repository sites like Ezine Articles

    You can also purchase traffic - just make sure you have tracking in place first to track conversions (not traffic) so you know what traffic sources are worth paying for.
