Hi everyone.
I need an advise.
I am just created a video course, and would like to sell it for some small fee.. My problem is - how do I protect my video content, and provide an easy access to my customers at the same time?
Would really appreciate any advice on that.

    Here is what I did:

I created a membership site using DAP. Then from there, there are a couple ways to protect the video uploaded to the site. DAP integrates with an amazon video host to protect the content. I used the pro version of Vimeo and modified the privacy settings.

I found that the membership site really adds a lot of value to the course. I charge a one time payment and grant full membership.

I was thinking about membership site too. But don't you have to spend a lot of time supporting it? (I'm targeting a pretty small community - around 1000 buyers at most, not sure if I want to spend time managing it full time).
You can downloading videos from Vimeo using realplayer, btw.. so, this is not secure(
I was thinking about some kind of player, that doesn't allow downloading, I've heard something like EVP or flowplayer does that, and some kind of CMS that would have require authentication.. But easy to manage..Like upload 2-3 videos in flowplayer format, and send the new users autentification links.
Also, my community has a good coding skills - Wordpress require minimum skills to hack unfortunately.

With Vimeo Pro, you can prevent that.

You don't have to spend a lot of time supporting it if you don't sell it that way. For instance, if it is just a one time payment that gives you access to the content. You can throw in varying levels of support to add value but is not necessarily.

DAP integrates with WSO Pro which is pretty cool as well.

I believe Amazon S3 has a way to protect your videos. Membership web sites are great, but they do need daily attention.
