Exit Pop-ups

Does anyone have a good script for exit pop-ups?

I have installed these before on my landing page but had trouble with my adweber sign up box.

I want the pop-up to apear when someone clicks away from the page or click back but not when they try to sign up.

    I think the one most sites are using is by ExitSplash.com. It's a little code snippet that you ad at the bottom of your page. You can see in action by clicking away from that site and view the source.

      Does Popup Domination do exit popups? I thought those were just timed from the pageload (immediately, a few seconds later, etc.). I think the OP wants the exit popups when someone is trying to leave the page. Popup domination has some awesome, nice converting designs though!

        I think OP is also asking if the exit popups come up when someone signs up to their list and hits the submit button and is redirected to the thank you page (i.e. AWAY from the page with the exit pop up).

        I've heard of Pop up domination and ExitSplash. I don't employ exit pop ups on my site yet. I've been wanting to though. I know that ExitSplash has that guy that says "Wait! Before you go, click the cancel button." Kind of annoying after a while. :p

        I guess what I'm looking for is something I can have full control over. I echo Kristi's question: Does Popup domination do exit pop ups?

    ExitSplash worked pretty well for me. I would only use them on one-page salesletters though. I seem to recall a few of them having issues when you just tried to navigate to other pages on your site.

    I used Virtual Sales Agent (or something) by Dave Guidon, which was more of an e-commerce save-a-sale. I used it for a couple years and then stopped using it because there was a security issue with it that popped up. When I dropped it, I saw no drop in conversion so go figure.

    @Kikolani - You're right, PopUp Domination doesn't have the Exit feature. It has great designs. Michael did a great job!

    If you're using Wordpress, you should look into a little gem called Popup Domination. It provides basically everything you're looking for, however I've only used it and can recommend it on Wordpress. Good luck!

      True story: About 3 years ago I wrote an e-book about soulmates from inspiration on Warrior-Forum and sold a few copies. I got stumped about adding popups because it required a lot of code, and was not easy to change.

      I stopped pushing the soulmate ebook and started a dynamic popup site, it took 2 years to make.

      Our on-exit popup is triggered when the mouse leaves the page.
