How To Increase CTR For Affiliate Sites

Hi,

One of my affiliate site gets around 50 visitors daily and only 1-2 people click on my affiliate links.

Is there is any good way to increase the CTR ?

    Your sample size isn't necessarily large enough to reflect your true CTR, but you should try split testing to figure out what works best.

    How are you presenting your affiliate links? And how tightly relevant are they to the page content?

    For example, are they banner ads tucked away at the bottom of the page, or text links within the main body of the page? And are they for products/services that are highly relevant to what the visitor is reading about..?

    For example, if I'm reading a page about the latest BMW, and there's a banner for car insurance in the sidebar - I'm very unlikely to click it.

    But if I've arrived on a page explaining how I can get a better deal on car insurance, which leads up to a couple of links you personally recommend for the best car insurance comparison sites... I'm going to click at least one of them, and I'm very likely to buy too.

    Try not to sell your product and let the product sales page do that for you. Pre selling and using what is known as embedded commands to pique curiosity are fantastic ways to increase CTR. After that, it's all up to your product sales page to close for you.

    You also are going to need a larger test group to find out if tweaks need to be made or not. 50 people is just not enough

      First you have to look at the traffic you are getting,
      is it targeted?

      To get more targeted traffic make sure you are using buyer keywords.

      To get more click through from the traffic you get make sure you are linking your images to the sales site as well as making the text links look naturally placed and relevant to the product and the context in which it is displayed.
