Get started today making money from youtube

Something I see many times is that people are reluctant to start a youtube channel or get up their first video because they think the technicalities of it is so enormous that they don't get started in the first place, but really it's very easy.

As an example I just grabbed a $20 webcam from a box I had sitting in the living room, started a new youtube channel from scratch and created a video.. no fancy camera, lighting, or editing software required.

I remember when I first started out. I was so scared of people mocking me and taking the micky out of me... Heck - the thought of submitting a article scared the hell out of me because I didn't want anyone to criticise me.

That's what was stopping me when I first started out all those years ago... Now I don't give a rat's ass lol.

Yes, and that totally fits the mantra of "Do one thing everyday that scares you" and you're pushing through that fear to grow..even to fail and learn from that failure.

Good advice. No one should fear trying new things, but most of do, unfortunately. YouTube does look intimidating until you get in and try it.

I went to a conference where a fellow was talking about video marketing. He said the reason he did video was that it was easier than writing! He said trying to come up with a great article or ebook was hard, but talking was easy...

One of those AHA moments for me when I realized it didn't have to be as hard as I was making it out to be.

Video Rocks. Although I've yet to make $ with my ventures, I am progressing in my niche.

In filming 'studio' stuff, I have put iprompt on my iPhone and script a spiel, then bluetack the phone to the camera, just above the lens. Now I get a smooth run through and recording. So much easier.

Less time shooting, less time editing, more time marketing...so yes video rocks.

best wishes to a successful site/channel.

i think many people are just afraid to be seen on video, for fear of criticism, as one of the other warriors stated. and yes, that "perfectionism" mentality.. lol

most of the folks i subscribe to on YT are crazy and don't give a flying-ffffffffffrag about being perfect.

    Video is great.

It's hands off for the most part and the more ingeninuity and creativity you put into it the better you perform.

I've seen some very stupid videos make off well, and some very smart ones do just as well. It's whatever your cup of tea is.

Nice post. I agree, making videos and putting them online is easy. I still havent gotten past my fear of being online yet, but there's plenty of other types of good videos you can do. I do a lot of powerpoint slideshows and also Camstudio screen video captures, for how to videos.

I used to do video marketing but didn't get good feedback. By introducing products of my affiliate programs on various videos, and I also linked back to the landing page of the products. Traffic just wan't attractive. So, is there anything wrong? How to increase the subscriber of my channel?
