W A R N I N G .. ! !.....W A R N I N G .. ! ! If someone in your profile or a friend sends you a LINK that says 'VISIT THE NEW FACEBOOK' do NOT open it. If you do, you're sure to say GOODBYE to your Facebook account. This is actually a trap by a HACKER who steals your details and REMOVES you permanently from your own page. please COPY and paste it on your wall and send it to your groups too...

I just got this email info from a friend of mine and I wanted the Warrior Comunity to know...

There are so many dangers out there, especially when it comes to the internet. I often wonder why there are so many individuals out to sabotage others.

I have always thought it is better to share success and tips with others as we each interpret these differently and therefore will seldom end up with exactly the same results.

Thank-you so much for the heads-up pertaining to facebook as many's natural tendency would have been to 'visit the new facebook'. I know that I certainly would have done exactly that.

Let's hope that we can all pickup on these scams and warn others in advance to avoid unecessary frustration for all.

    Again, thank-you for the heads-up.

While this post would stop this specific threat, it won't stop against any other. In fact, all this hacker has to do is change the text to "click here for free money" or something and posting this is rendered useless.

It's all about keeping an eye out for what looks dodgy.

I can tell you how these exploits work - basically they send you to a PHP page which uses your current php 'session' (a session in PHP contains all the details necessary to keep you logged into Facebook and other details). Once they have a copy of your session, theoretically they can use your Facebook.

Having said that, I doubt it would always work, if it would work at all.

And in hindsight, this might be a hoax warning.

    Thanks for heads-up.

As Mittvit mentions it is all about using your common sense. But again I know how most of my friends behave on Facebook, so I would easily spot if something doesn't fit their normal behavior.
