Sign Up Box

Dear all,

I would like to place a sign up box on my blog. The purpose is to update my readers with updates on the blog. Anyone can share how can I do that?

Another question.

Can this same sign up box be use to send automated newsletter as well?

    Yes. Sign up with an autoresponder (AR) service, like aweber, getresponse, inmicamail etc. and they will provide you with an optin form.

    Then you can place it in a simple text widget on your blog's sidebar.

    Aweber has a feature to do that. It's called "Blog broadcast".

    If you publish multiple blog posts a week, I'd consider sending them a weekly digest instead.
