Posting other syndicated articles on my Blogger page

It's allowed if you take them from article directories.

That's what article directories are there for.

They're depositories of content freely available to be syndicated to other sites (within the terms of service of the directory, which will always require you to take and publish the author's resource-box links with the article).

But don't take them from anywhere else! (Not without the author's permission, anyway).

It's what thousands of people do.

It's fine as long as you don't try to build your whole site from syndicated articles. That wouldn't be so good, and it might not be easy for you to rank well, doing it that way, because those articles are all published and indexed elsewhere first. (Which is also part of the reason why it's so important for you to publish your own articles on your own site first and have them indexed there before you put them in any articles directories or give them to anyone else).

But a mixture of your own articles and some syndicated ones, on your own site, will be fine.

You won't be "penalised" in any way because of the syndicated ones, but their own SEO benefits usually won't be so good.

You didn't ask, but I strongly advise you not to use Blogger for "your site", for the simple reason that it won't be "your site" if you do: it'll be Blogger's site, and they can delete it whenever they like. You'll find a fuller explanation in this thread and many others like it. This has happened to many Warriors, as you can see from all the threads like this one, too. Not to mention this thread from only yesterday. It makes no sense to build your business on sites you don't yourself own and control. Blogger gives you nothing that you can't get free elsewhere, without taking these unnecessary risks. This thread may also help you.
