advice on short-term SMS shortcode service in spain

Hi,
I was invited to make a guest appearance on a Spanish talk radio program next week to talk about a book that I happen to be selling on CB.

I'm trying to think of how to best use the airtime to my advantage, and I thought that being able to say "Visit my website at Search Results for "blalba.com" or text BLA to 12345" would be more powerful than just mentioning the website.

The radio station in question is called "Talk Radio Europe" (Talk Radio Europe) and they claim to have 500K listeners.

I've never done SMS shortcode stuff before. Can anyone with experience tell me 1) if SMS shortcodes is a good idea in this scenario, 2) What the best response to the first SMS should be - should I send them to a sales page? Send them to an email squeeze page? I can't truly rewrite my email autoresponder in SMS - it's too short, so while I can see how to promote other mobile products to the SMS list, I don't see how to promote my own without creating a mobile site (which I don't really want to do)

Also, on a more technical side, can anyone recommend a good shortcode service to use? Is it possible to just get it for a short-term, as I imagine that I'll only really need it during and immediately following the live interview... Couldn't I just take the subscriber list a day or so after and use another service to follow-up with the SMS messages?

Thanks for the help, warriors.
