Default Anyone involved in insurance and loans niches? If so how are you marketing them?

I was just going through some stuff with real life issues and I was wondering if anyone here taps into the insurance and loans niche. I mean more of the micro niche of course but I was wondering if you did what kind of marketing you did. You dont need to reveal any details on your program etc I was just curious if its article marketing pointing to a static site or through blogging etc. I ran into a problem with my dog the other day and it ended up costing me around 3 grand to get him fixed up. So I started looking at pet insurance hehe and though hmm maybe a good niche to get into. But I wasnt really sure how to target it. I would appreciate any advice.

Thanks,
Jason

Hey Jason, you might want to look at targeting the college crowd for this topic. I know people who have had some success advertising on Facebook targeting this demographic. As far as pet insurance goes, that could be a good idea. You could even narrow your target to certain local markets for this if you are going the PPC route. Hope that helps!

go direct mail on this.i helped a client in the mortgage refinancing industry and he made around $480,000 last year with my strategies.remember in marketing only about 5 percent are ready to buy at that point, doesnt mean the other 95 percent wont.put them in constant contact with you and when they are ready, they will find you..

basically mortgage refinancing is this.when you buy a home you pay like 10 percent down to the owner and finance the rest via a mortgage(loan from bank) for like 30 years with interest of lets say 4 percent.you can actually get a loan at cheaper interest rates from rival banks(lets say a rival bank offers 2 percent).

the rival bank will pay bank A the loan amount and take over the loan.so now you pay a lower interest so your mortgage is cheaper.

my client is a broker who promotes this mortgage refinancing to home owners.
he had a list of people who owned bungalows in a certain district from liasing with realtors and needed an ad to hit the market.

so i helped him create a direct mail letter to be sent to the list which got very very good results..

model for ad is targetted hot button filled headline followed by big promise sub headline followed by educating the client below, testimonials to the right and call to action at the bottom.

Jason, my primary off line biz is a very micro niche in the mortgage industry. For almost the last 10 years, we have generated nearly 100% of our income from a combination of PPC to squeeze pages where we put people into a long term email campaign. We also have worked hard at natural SEO stuff - most of our sites are on page one - and we do article marketing - mainly for the SEO side of things.

That said, with the market where it is right now, most mortgage niches are hurting.
