Stop being Scared... Cash Cow Secrets revealed.

Straight to the point....

I followed David Preston's idea and sent about 25 letters with no response. Then I even emailed 50 places with a good script and got no response. The one guy I did get was a cold call and he flaked on me. So I put the whole thing on the back burner....and basically said "screw it"

Then it just kinda hit me.....

If you make 100 calls a day to local business owners about helping them establish a web presense or increasing it...you will succeed. It's that simple.

I did this today and got over 20 appointments lined up..I just closed a deal at 1 AM in a bar...He also is allowing me to run a Karaoke night, as well as set up a website. So basically - Two gigs in one.

Here's what what really caused me to see the light....Now follow close because I'm gonna reference some off the wall stuff and kinda jump around but it will all make sense.

1. Watch the MIT Black Jack team movie. The whole secret behind the ordeal is the LAW OF LARGE NUMBERS. If you do something enough times the RIGHT WAY...you will see positive results. The great thing about the Cash Cow method is...you don't have to be as precise as a Black Jack card counter. You can say a few wrong things and still close a deal.

2. Tony Robbins makes a great point. The only reason we don't do something is that we think there is more pain associated with taking that action..then if we chose to sit on the sidelines. This is powerful and very true...It is literally the only thing holding anyone back. The whole ideals behind improving yourself is held in this basic principle.

3. Speaking the Language - My first 20 calls sucked. I mean..I really just bombed out.

Then I started speaking the language. That is - Business owners language.

Basically the gist of my sales pitch was "We will take your site from an info gathering hub to a profit generating machine that will bring people through the door"

The word track is money.

Basically...it boils down to two things....

1. The word profits. Very simply - Profits is all these people care about when it comes to running a biz.

2. The phrase "Bring People through the door" - This is a very powerful visual that really appeals to them. When you say this...they can't help but see customers walk through the door..

Elephant.

See you pictured an Elephant.

So really that's all there is to it. This will make you money if you just follow it.

Recap

Law of Large Numbers - Do stuff enough times the right way and you'll succeed.

Knowing that the ONLY reason you are scared is because you associate more pain from following through then you do from not taking action. Realize that the WORST thing these people can do is say NO. Then, get over it and make some calls.

I dare someone to take the 100 call challenge and not make money. Any takers?

Thats awesome! Its good to see you didnt give up after your unlucky start.

So when you call these places what do you say exactly at the begining?

Could you post a little transcript there for others to use

    well done!

You are very, very close here. "Profits" may be the trigger word, but profits is the feature, not the benefit.

Profit is an indicator of success, which might mean different things to different business owners...

      > The classic "see, I told you I could do it" payoff.
      > Satisfaction/pride at providing a level of lifestyle for the owner and their family.
      > Pride at being an important person in the community.
      > Pleasure from providing employment to others.

I could go on, but you're obviously bright enough to spot the theme here.

For every business owner, generating profits leads to an emotional payoff and it could be a little different for each owner. Spend enough time during your appointments to find their particular payoff, show them how you can help them get THAT, and they'll insist you take their money...
