New Serious Paypal Policy, in case you haven't noticed..

Hi Everyone,

Just a heads up. I received an email from Paypal yesterday stating their new policy.

Section 2 wording has been changed to include illegal download products and all digital products. Paypal has received numerous complaints from digital publishers of people selling their products via Paypal illegally.

"Illegally" is not only re-selling when you don't have the rights to do so, such as Master Resell Rights, Private Label Rights, Standard Resell Rights, but also selling at lower prices than allowed according to the licensing agreement.

If you are engaged in the above, you may lose your Paypal account.

Take Care,

Dave

I am not a lawyer, but my understanding is that such a clause can only be legally considered as a suggestion; otherwise it becomes price fixing which IS illegal.

So, PLR sellers that say "must be sold for $X or more" could actually be the ones doing something wrong.

    However...

    I AM NOT A LAWYER.

But I'm guessing you're not either, so it's always best to remind people to never get legal advice from a forum. And that goes for my advice as well.

    All the best,
    Michael
