Any Suggestions on Getting Started with affilate marketing using PPC

Could someone please point me in the right direction to making some cash using Affiliate programs such as clickbank? Right now I have about $150 starting capital but I'm only familiar with CPA.

Can I promote it the same and have equal success ? Just setting up the right keywords and using PPC to earn a profit ? Or is it more to it than that?

    Not to be a downer, but I think it would be quite difficult to turn a profit that way because of the costs of that form of advertising.

    Better option-- build an email list, develop a relationship with them, then market to them.

      Yes...

      There are better options than trying to dive into PPC.

      I wish I could convey the stress of letting $100 per day ride on PPC, and hoping for sales each day.

      I'm sure it's REAL simple if you find the perfect product with some untapped keywords, and create an excellent converting landing page, but until then, it takes money to test.

      I agree...anyway, for $150 dollars, I don't think you'd go far with PPC. It would take a lot of testing to find out what would work with PPC.

    It very often works like a charm for me ... even when you start promoting in the very first email.

    Everyone says you have to build a relationship first - my experience says that is not true. You can start making money immediately - which is usually what I want to see at the beginning of a new campaign. A common characteristic of my successful caimpaigns is that they were making sales right away.. they may not be profitable at first, but if they are close to breaking even, I can tweak them into profitability.

    $150 is probably not really enough of a cushion to get started with though. You could very well make money right from the start, but $150 doesn't give you much breathing room.
