How To Repurpose Content Without Being Penalized?

I am helping a client build a website and in his website we have a number of high quality articles provided by merchants to promote their products.

This is what he wants to do.

He wants to build a list and use the same articles again in his autoresponder series by placing the content in separate landing pages related to the main domain.

To explain further,

The affiliate content is placed in www.domain.com/affiliatearticle1

He wants to use the same content in www.domain.com/subscribers/affiliatearticle1

And he does not want the www.domain.com/subscribers/affiliatearticle1 to be indexed by Google to avoid duplication of the same content within the same domain.

What would be the best way of doing this?

    Hi

You can add "noindex" and "nofollow" to the pages and links.

Instead of duplicating the content, why not put the article in one location then redirect links to the same article?

So you could store all articles in one directory (mydomain.com/article_dir/) and then simply lnk to the desired articles. That way you don't create duplicate articles that need to be maintained and if any article changes, all the links using that articles will reflect the changes.

      Mahlon,

Thanks for the comments. He wants to use the articles on his main website so that he can provide additional value and increase visitors time on site.

For the autoresponder series, he wants to use clean landing pages with no distraction so that the call to action is directed to either visiting the squeeze page of the merchant or the salespage.

      Hope I am making sense.

The first obvious thing to consider is to use a premium CS account and make sure that all of your content is comprehensible and passes the tests. You shouldn't have many problems if you do that
