INTERNET MARKETING

What Does Epc Stand For? I tried to check the meaning in Google but not sure if it is the exact meaning... Elettronic Product Code maybe? I'm asking because I've seen it lots of times in the CB product marketplace desc.

Earning per click, which is the amount of revenue on average for each click to your site, to your squeeze page, that opts in... To really use it, determine your earnings per click from different traffic sources to see which ones make the most money :-)

Most list owners also track clickthru rates (CTR) on their emails.

- You send 10,000 emails
- 1,000 people open them, so open rate is 10%
- 200 people click the link, so clickthru on open is 20%
- 20% of 10% is 2% of the entire list

Now you look at the stats and apply them to your list. You see an offer that would be good for your cheese-eating list, which has the stats mentioned above, but your cheese-eating list is only 3,672 people.

So you do the math: 2% of 3,672 is about 73 people, so an EPC of $2.50 means you can expect to make $182.50 mailing that offer to your list.

That's the theory, anyway. In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice; in practice, there is.
