Does this not remind you of a family guy episode?

I just saw this link from a guy on twitter who is following me. He had one of those direct messages that auto sends you a DM.

Note - the guy has a plan of making over a million a year, and he can't even add a damn title to his website. sigh.

index

Just the look and feel reminds of the southpark episode where it has a chinese guy doing an informercial saying

"why I rich and you not. why I make love to your wife while you at work. Why I pee in your toilet, but then I pee in the top part, so when you flush my pee stays in the toilet. It's because I'm smart, you stupid. Call now"

lol Hope someone here knows exactly what I am talking about.

I know exactly what you're talking about!

One correction though - it was Family Guy!

I will say that, with the exception of the "index" title, the site is very well designed for who I'm assuming is the target market (newcomers looking for a quick way to make some money). Flashy and attention grabbing!

I have no problems with Auto-DM's on Twitter as long as they aren't sending me one just to try and sell me something.

That would make me unfollow them quickly!

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind people sending me DM's in Twitter to try and sell me something. I just don't expect someone to try and sell me something with their first DM (especially if it's an auto DM)!

I knew that would end up being the most important part of my reply!

Quick question, are you still following this person or did this tactic of trying to sell you something immediately via DM put you off like it would have done me?

This is just my opinion, but I wouldn't make fun of this guy on a public forum.

I mean, he's following you, right? That's kind of like a newsletter subscriber. That's a potential customer. Or a potential JV partner. Or even if he is neither of those things, he might be someone who could refer you to a potential customer or JV partner.

But would he help you out if he saw this post?

Hmm, probably not. (And he will see it, because it's in his traffic logs now.)

If I were you, I'd edit his link out of your OP.

    Cheers,
    Becky

He can get mad at me if he wants...he could be for real and seriously a millionaire or he could be a scammer I have no clue.

I was just saying the look/feel of his site (which is nice btw) reminded me of that Family Guy episode.

I am a nobody in the IM community, so if he gets mad that I mentioned something funny, and he is a millionaire...it should really be no sweat of his back.

Actually, I didn't take action. I clicked the link and checked his site out this morning. I haven't read any of his tweets yet, so I will check them out and if they suck, I will unfollow.

Those shows are designed for 18+

the sad thing is that children watch them.

The sales page is a little cheesy, but I think it will work well. Seems like they know what they were doing... and they better, because I just dropped 20k on their program:p

Anyway, I actually didn't make it to the sales page so I don't know how much it costs, but I bet it works.
