New to the Warrior Forum

Hello all,

I'm Jeff Womack and just joining the forum. I'm getting ready to retire from the military and wanted to venture into some sort of internet marketing to make some income on the side. I'm not looking to get rich overnight and don't mind if it's something gradual and long-term.

I've heard and read several good things about starting off with article writing. I'd greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions, or would enjoy some conversational exchange. Thanks in advance.

    Hey Jeff,

    I was in the navy, and would have retired last week @ 37... if I had stayed in. At least you have some cash flow to help because IM is pretty tough to figure out.

      I'm actually finishing up 26 years in the Air Force. I was deployed to Afghanistan with some Navy guys...good crew. One was my truck gunner on convoys. Yes, looks like the IM world will require some disciplined and dedicated learning, but I'm up for the challenge.

    Welcome to the forum ... write up some samples to show people and post a $20 ad in Warriors for Hire section of the WF. That section gets a lot of traffic.

      Thanks for the advice. That sounds like one good way to get started. I actually have some background in writing from college.

    Jeff - Welcome to WF.

    There are some very talented writers here and a lot of them are very generous with their knowledge in article marketing.

    Before you do anything, spend a few days reading and commenting on article marketing, soon enough you will recognize who to look to for advice and who to avoid.

    Here is a hint for you - the Warriors I am referring too sell their writing for far more than $5 and article.

    Hey Jeff,

    There is no "right" way to start off with Internet Marketing. Just look around the forum, do some research on different ways to make money online. Once you find something that you like, stick with it till you master it!
