as in pay per click? The reason I made this thread is because I am starting a turnkey business in a couple weeks. I would like to know what marketing techniques work the best. To start it off, I will be using youtube, press releases and ibuzzpro. After I establish those, I will be looking into pay per click, social networking and others if I hear they work nicely. Thanks!

its quite impossible not to make money with payperclick at this time.my returns on ppc(adwords),is about 5 times the cost per month,ppc(facebook) is about 8-12 times,and of course other hidden ppc goldmines(lol)...

haaha..mate you are asking me to sum up a strategy that makes me 6 figures in a forum post..not really possible is it?seriously mate,youtube press releases and buzz software are more to create awareness.if you are doing anything online,you need to learn how to use pay per click and ebay.of course it also depends on what kind of business you are doing..

thats one profit income stream that i used last year to make six figures.do note however its not a get rich quick thing,it requires work but quite idiot proof i would say..let me know if you have any questions after watching it..

yup,tom speaks the truth,its good to be wary but not cynical.there are millionaires who sell small things at large quantities.

i have a good friend in this forum who made his first million doing plr all day,another who sells low ticket items(5-6 figure launches) on clickbank all day and yet another who sells memory cards and wires on ebay in huge quantities and makes millions all day.

Personally, I LOVE Radio & TV...in that order.

Yes I am a radio and TV guy, but whenever I have a guest on my show I always check with them to see what kind of traffic/sales/response/ they got from their appearance and it is always huge!

All of the methods mentioned above work IF they are done correctly. I tried many methods of making money online (for years) and I could not make anything work until I got into article marketing. That helped me learn the basics of all online marketing. After I learned how to make money with article marketing everything else began to work for me. Article marketing is a great starting point, but learn how to do it right.

The best thing that's worked for me so far has been partnerships. I've done my best to connect with other people. In some cases, I've even purchased their products first. Then, I send them a personal email asking if they would be interested in receiving a free copy of my product and consider partnering with me.

It's worked for me.

To the OP -

Consider that you are asking a premature question. Wanting to know which marketing tactic is "best" is like asking which tool is best to fix a broken car engine.

Without diagnosing exactly where you are headed, looking at tactics will do you no good.

Once you've defined a specific business approach and business model, you can then look at which tactics will best serve that model.

I have found that good old fashioned "grass-roots" marketing techniques still work great. Things like drop cards, lawn-signs, flyers on the car windshield, running classifieds in your local paper, etc. Plus some of these strategies allow you to get some sunshine!

Of all of these, I've found plain old drop cards (business cards) are the best. You can go to Vista Prints on line, and take advantage of their free business card deals they have. You can put your particular marketing blurb right on the card at their site. And its all free, though you still have to pay shipping, but it works great!
