Hi Guys and Gals

I have been working on seo for an affiliate site for the last couple of months (pretty high competition keyword)

Currently I am ranked between position 3 and 5 for the keyword and I am making an average of one affiliate sale every day. I see potential here and I think I can double that by reaching position 1 and I want to become an authority in this niche.

For this same reason I want to have my own product instead of just being an affiliate for somebody, What is the best way to go around this? I have a lot of projects on my hand and dont have time to build a product, sales page and all this myself. And I see the following solutions:

1. Buy someone elses existing product.

How do I go about this and how much do I pay?

2. Outsource the product creation and sales page creation.

This seems like a pretty big project to me or am I wrong?

What are your guys recommendation?

Try looking on cbengine.com for recently removed products. If you think you can revamp them contact the owner and ask if they want to sell. How much to pay? My advice is to start low and negotiate

    2. Outsource the product creation and sales page creation.

Check out the warrior classifieds there are providers who will create products for you.

    Hope that helped

Be careful with buying someone else's product. You can't run a WSO for a product that has already been sold here.

I would go with the second option.

I'd definitely opt for the 2nd option as well. You can check out the 'Warriors For Hire' section to find product creators and copywriters there. Pick someone with lots of good reviews and communicate with them well and you should be off to a good start.

Come to think of it, there was a pretty popular WSO out not too long ago about outsourcing your product creation. If I were you, I'd look into something like that to shorten the learning curve. But it's by no means necessary.

I would say keep pursuing the business you are in. Keep your ears open for someone selling or with a great opportunity and then change.
