Finally Made it to the Warrior Forums

Happy Weekend Everyone! I have to admit that I've been involved with Internet Marketing for about a year now, and have been intimidated to post anything on these forums.

I guess I wasn't sure if I'd ever amount to anything, or that I'd sound 'dumb' among the higher ranks of the more advanced marketers here, but alas, I've taken the step to post my very first thread.

I have experienced more failures than successes, but the fact that I am still going at it should tell you that I am, in fact, enjoying myself. Maybe it's because this has been an incredible learning experience. Maybe it's because of the fantastic people I've met along the way. Maybe it's because ever since I became a stay@home mom, I've made the commitment to never have to go back to work again... and quite honestly, I think it's a little of all of the above.

Anyway, through all of my trials and tribulations, as well as actually taking the time to learn from my mistakes, I have found my calling (besides being the best mom possible). I look forward to getting to know this forum, and all that it has to offer.

      Thanks so much for the warm welcome! One thing I have learned during my year-long IM journey is that the learning never stops, so I will certainly ask away as I find myself scratching my head (yet again).

      No snowboard yet for the little ones (they turn 3 next month), but we are investigating sets of skis for the pee-wee's. Should be an interesting season... very low expectations, but we are excited, none-the-less.

      I have used my twins extensively to help me come up with niche ideas... lol. I think the biggest hurdle I am constantly trying to overcome is time management. I have more ideas for Internet Marketing and niche sites running through my brain than I have time to implement them. Much of it is because I am busy enough as a mom, but I also realize that without action, there is no chance at success. I'll get there!

        I think that is the hardest part - convincing myself to spend more time on the projects I've already started instead of jumping to the next thing. It is definitely easier if you are working on things you really enjoy!

    Welcome to the WF. Don't worry, we don't bite. Well, most of us anyway.

    Have you bought a tiny snowboard for your little one yet and taught him or her to ride? You are close enough to the snow! It was chilly here the other day, and I found my snow gland starting to work way ahead of season. :0

    you will find folks here friendly and helpful. There is an area in the forums called the war room. Is the part of the form that has a membership fee of $37 one time for a 20 year membership, wow! You will find out why helpful information there, free information courses, and even some of the WSO (warrior special offers) free in the war room.

    Ha. Glad I could finally get you on here I have seen Elizabeth since the very beginning and she really does have what it takes to become very successful online, she's helped me push my own business further, but more than that, she has been a wonderful friend.

    I've met a lot of internet marketers, from here, other websites, and in person, and out of everyone that I have met in the last 2 years, Elizabeth has been the only one to really push. Most marketers have either just given up when they were right around the corner from their first huge success.

    Heck, I remember when you were just starting out and you had no clue how any of this worked. Now look at where you are today You have the motivation to be one of the biggest internet marketers that I have met and I truly do believe in you.

    This forum consists of mostly highly intelligent individuals who are very kind and willing to help you with any question you have. Personally it's a pleasure being here, it's just difficult at times to be caught up on all the material, because there's a lot, and you never know when gold will strike when it comes to valuable info. I usually find it randomly in the middle of threads.

    What a great way to introduce yourself. I too was nervous when I first started posting. In fact, it took me a year of reading the posts before I decided to become active. I still don't always rush into posting a comment, I still enjoy reading the posts and learning from those who have been here longer than me because even as I grow my own business I am always looking for ways to do things better and to learn new skills that I would not have had without this community.

    Thank you all for the welcome! I have spent quite a bit of time over the weekend getting to know the forum, and it is amazing to see how much knowledge one can truly gain from here.

    I read in one of the posts that one of the biggest mistakes people (especially newbies) make is the attempt to do too much at once without ever truly seeing a project through... or as very well put... changing horses in the middle of a race.

    I did that quite a bit in the beginning... and what happened? Frustration... from not seeing results. I've now found a big project that I have completely dedicated myself too (it also helped that I teamed up with a great mentor)... and while I have tons of other Internet Marketing ideas that I really want to get into, I am forcing myself to stay 100% involved and committed to this task at-hand. Once I reach my goal with this project, I will then allow myself to start dabbling in other projects.

    But yes, family is always going to be my top priority! I have boy/girl twins turning 3 next month, and being a stay@home mom is anything short of easy. Probably the most challenging job I have (as I am sure any parent can attest to).

    Glad to see other mom's on here making their home business of Internet Marketing a true reality. I am in the midst of making that happen, and I think joining this forum will help push this process even further.
