Quick Question About Press Releases

INTERNET MARKETING

Hey everyone, I wanted to find out if anyone knows if you post a press release that you have syndicated on your own website or blog would google think of it as duplicate content and penalize your website? Just trying to find out as my press release is pretty darn good and I wanted to post it on my website but kind of not sure what google does about press releases. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Sebastian,

Why not rewrite the press release quickly for use on your site instead? Then there is no risk of duplicate content penalties or anything.

  That's what I was thinking of but I wanted to make sure because I'd rather just post it but if there's any chance of penalty then I'd rather not risk it. Thank you.

Press releases can be posted on your website.It should not be a case for duplication,because unlike articles,press release is a formal notice to clients/potential clients and it should be same wherever its published.You can go ahead posting your press release.

  I little more research online and I'm getting both no penalty and yes penalty so I don't really know who's word to take. Hmm?

  We've multiple submission sitesbeen using my I.M. PRESS RELEASE GENERATOR™ software and submitting the identical press release to without penalty
