Amazon and Christmas sites

Do any fellow amazon affiliate marketeers concentrate on christmas sites around this time of year?

Like toys etc...

Is it worth it?

I think you will find this is quite popular.
I have two sites purely focusing on toys at christmas.
Look up these people as a starter for training

    Jan Roos
    Craig Kaye

I have a few sites like this I created last year, and I'll be doing a few more this year. I love the earning boost I get during October-December

Yep, I always spend some time getting ready for Christmas. Suddenly the whole world is searching for products and gifts with their credit card ready in their hand. You should always take advantage of that.

It doesn't have to be a Christmas site or even kids toys though. All of my product sites make MANY MANY more sales at Christmas because people start buying many gifts. Some people buy all their gifts through Amazon and fill up their carts with hundreds of items.

I'm getting excited of your post. I have a tech gadget blog. Do you think I can make some amount during Christmas?

I hope I have made the right things to entice people to click my affiliate link and the buy now button.

Any season that involves gift giving does well on Amazon if you are focused on it...

Just a few off the top of my head:

    Christmas
    Valentines Day
    Allergy Season
    Super Bowl
    Back to School
New Years Resolutions Season (usually health and quit something)

Think I read somewhere that shops can split their retail seasons into as many as 20 different groups! That's a lot to be targeting and means could in theory have a 'Christmas style' rush all year long

      Hey Dog

You should have these sites up already and if you dont get started right now, because you can really make a killing especially over the Christmas period.

The whole population is shopping for Christmas and you can double triple your monthly income over the holidays.

Its not too late for anyone to get a site up right now and cash in for the holidays my sites are already starting to get sales trickling in for the new Christmas products I have added and its only September.

Halloweens is first though 31st October

I hear ye gaz... I've 2 sites that, while weren't christmas targeted, they will do quite well over the christmas season.

I'm looking into products that will do well at christmas and also not too bad over the year.

If I'm going to target specific toys... I think I may go with a squidoo or hub page...

Hell yes it's a great idea!!

I have clients that have created specific Christmas gift websites and we have worked out some SEO plans to get them ranking in time for the buying season.

You can make a killing through Amazon over Christmas if you know what you're doing.

Christmas is definitely a hot time for Amazon affiliates, since you have a huge influx of shoppers. Don't just think about toys either - there are tons of other things that sell well also (electronics, appliances, gym equipment, etc)

It's very much worth your time, especially when you position yourself in the search engines before products actually come out because it means less competition. Also, all the hottest-selling stuff usually sales out at stores, and people are forced to shop online. My 60-year-old mom used to think I was crazy, but now, she loves it. We live in a small town, so there are lots of things we can't even get--unless we order them online. Now is the time to get started.

    Good luck,
    Joey

Yes, creating sites/content to target the Holidays/Christmas is very, very lucrative.

I've had success for 2 years, and I'm acting every day now to make sure it happens again this year!!
