Awesome Video Creation?

Can someone tell me how those really cool videos are made - mainly with text - kind of animated, with lots of printed text and strong call to action - tis hard to describe. I have seen them on some recent WSO promos, (but cant for the life of me find an example now!) It is not Animoto or OnetrueMedia.

      I used to be friendly with a local media student who created pretty much anything I wanted via after effects etc. Very high quality and extremely cheap!

      The student would use the university systems which meant he had no outlay for software etc, so you only pay for time. To make contact with the students I would just go in to your local university/college and put a poster up offering work. You will prob be able to pick and choose from the people who contact you as many are keen to get some cash and experience under their belt, good luck.

    There is one in Isaiah WSO post.. i like that .. Maybe you are referring to that?


    I would like to know too.. I do a lot of live videos but not those cartoonish ones.. Some questions for those who know:

    1. Where do they get the cute cartoonish graphics from?
    2. Where to buy the music for cheap?
    3. How does the normal storyboard process go for the "cartoon-ish" ones?

    I have figured out that a number of these videos can be done using keynote animation + voiceover from garageband + creative storyline

    ..or am i way off on that one?

      If it's the most recent one you're talking about, I'd say it was probably done on Adobe AfterEffects as others have suggested.

      You can get DVDs with cartoon images, but I think the ones in his video were probably created bespoke by a graphic artist.

      2. Where to buy the music for cheap?
      There are lots of places online where you can get royalty-free music. Do a search in Google, you'll find a ton. I usually get music from my videos from Yopo Music YoPo Buyout Production Music | The non-MCPS Buyout Production Music Library (not an affiliate link). They're very reasonable.

      I don't think it would be all that different from storyboarding any other type of video.

      Don't know anything about those, so I can't help you with that point, I'm afraid.
