Ezinearticles is the only one I've ever had any luck with for syndication. I know a few people use Articlesbase and Goarticles too though.

Ezine Articles is the only article directory from which I get passive syndication.

I do sometimes read here that other Warriors have occasionally had an article syndicated from either GoArticles or ArticlesBase, but it almost never happens for me.

Ezine Articles is the most well-known directory, by far, and the one to which "content-seekers" instinctively go first.

I can always tell from which directory copies have been syndicated, because if I post in two directories, I change a punctuation-mark in one version (typically a semi-colon or comma, which nobody but myself would be aware of), but the reality is that it's EZA at least 99.9% of the time ... maybe even 99.99%.

      Two important things to know:-

      (i) It's a mistake to depend only on passive syndication from article directories: other methods are more important.

(ii) Articles will be syndicated only if they're written for syndication, and almost never if they're "written for clicks". Trying to increase your "click-through rate" and trying to increase your "publication rate" tend - for quite a few reasons - to be conflicting aims.

I'm not sure whether you're niche fits into one of their topics, but American Chronicle is a great resource. Instead of being the "typical" article directory, it's more of an e-magazine or e-newspaper. They're affiliated with other online newspapers around the country, so there's a very good chance your stuff will get picked up by several other sites right off the bat.

As for the "traditional" article directories, I would try a few of the top ones and see which ones work best for you. Personally, I've had luck with both Go Articles and Amazines. For some reason, I keep finding articles that I published Article Base that have been stolen and spun, so I've stopped using them altogether (not sure if this is a problem for anyone else, but I've found at least 1/2 a dozen articles where this has happened :confused

Thanks for the link, Nicole. Looks like an interesting opportunity.

Answering the OP, it's EZA way out in front and everything else fighting for second right now...

    Hey guys...

This has been a very educational experience, still learning alot. I am in the real estate offline niche dealing with home owners, home buyers, real estate investors. Although, I am not an affiliate online marketer and do operate an offline business, the insight into using article marketing via syndication is a tool that can be used to promote a offline business and get calls coming in.

Not sure what article directories I should target for syndication but based on the feedback I am getting here I guess I should start with

Thanks everyone for your great feedback.

I am in the offline real estate niche - deal with home owners, home buyers, real estate investors.

Not sure what article directories are good for my target market, if you have any suggestions please share them for me, but I think I will follow the advice and feedback I got here.

What would you do if you were me and was not sure would you submit to many or just a few to avoid confusion and be able to track better ?

What I am thinking is this, I will submit to the tops ones listed below to see if any one grabs them from a specific directory and now I will know which ones work for me. I think I was thinking too hard, some one told me some where just submit to the directories and let the cards fall where they may and take it from there, and wait to see which ones work for me....thanks for the tip so I think I will just submit to them.

Now the question is how will I know from what directory it was picked up from if I submit to the top and 40 others Is there a way to track where it was picked up from ?
