Like Charlotte said, you could offer your services here (Warriors products & services -> Warriors for hire).

That alone can easily get you up to $200

Then, when you want to go big, you could create your own program that somehow simplifies/benefits internet marketers in running our businesses.

When you're doing small projects as a freelancer at first, you should keep an eye out on common problems which have an opportunity for you, as a programmer, to capitalize on in the future.

Good luck and all the best!

The best place for you is odesk and other freelancer sites here you can get jobs on hourly, weekly an monthly basis. Most of the php freaks have their own websites and they are earning from them through adsense by driving traffic through youtube tutorials of php which they have made

You can try your hand at freelancing sites. There you can offer your advice pertaining to script languages.

Doing some Youtube tutorials on several programming languages should get you some traffic. Then you can monetize that traffic with freelancing services or by offering individual php-courses (for example).
That should get you quite some startup money to use on bigger projects. Always re-invest!

Great advice here. Programming is such a great skill to have that many people have no desire to learn how to do it.

And there are some others who would want to learn programming. You can create a simple video course, how-to ebooks, worksheets etc. and sell them... after you get that $200 by freelancing maybe

You sound like a smart cookie While picking up a few freelance projects you should also look at doing a blog or a website w/coding-related tutorials or solutions to common problems. Build up a little popularity w/the site & you can add adsense or other offers. Your own website would also be a great way for you to create another gateway for picking up freelance projects.

I was doing PHP scripts for guys on Fiverr having about 5 orders a day but this was getting too time consuming as some buyers had jobs quite above the scope of 5. You could try fiverr anyways

I would start with Youtube and CPA personally. Its the fastest money I've ever seen.

Make video reviews of a Free iPad offer or something and post them to youtube with your affiliate link at the bottom.

You might want to start offering your services as a writer, programmer, and etc for a beginner since you would be introduce to the IM world by constantly reading and doing some research. And also, it is one of the way to start with zero in the IM business and all you have to offer first, is your service as a writer, programmer or web designer. There are plenty of services that you can offer to clients, you just have to learn and develop what skills you are capable within the IM world. Check out Odesk.com, Elance.com or Onlinejobs.ph for the service that you are capable of performing and can deliver the job for the employer.

In my case, I started as an article writer that conducts research before creating an article since employer will provide some topic for you to work on it. I started with zero money and nothing on my account, but after earning my first income, I started saving and using the money that I earned as an article writer to invest and purchase my own domain in the IM business.

Freelance programming is a good first choice.

The second thing I would do is to set aside some time each week to research what tool people need that isn't easy to find.

Spend time in forums, ask questions, review what others are saying and over time, ideas may occur to you.

Once you have some ideas, set aside time each week to develop the first tool.

For members of my Internet mentorship program, I often give them ideas that match their skills and they are amazed how many I can come up with in a few minutes.

Just takes training your mind to another way of thinking.

It's simple make a big content website and promote it for traffic. Then you can earn from adsense or other advertising with your website. You can also make a website to sell something online like digital products etc.

Definitely advertise your services, create a site that's basically a resume, portfolio, and testimonials from people you've done services for and watch the flood come in. Good luck! Your already one step ahead of the crowd with the knowledge you have.
