Registering on a WP Blog?

Hey guys, hopefully this is posted in the right section, if not, where would I post this?
I'm trying to set up my site so people have to log in before they can comment, only thing is, right now when they click to log in obviously they do not have log in info. They are not prompted to register a new account, is there a plugin, I need to download for this? Thanks.

    If you are on wordpress then there are many plugins available for it .

    But you can do it without any plugin. Just go to

    Under Settings > Discussion the 2nd section says 'Other Comment Settings'. The 2nd selection there is 'Users Must be Registered and Logged in to Comment'
