| Captain War Room Member | I have submitted 10 articles to Ezine Articles and now I have the opportunity to ask for an account upgrade. What reasons must I use to guarantee my approval for a Platinum account? |

Hi Oscar, I'm pretty sure they upgrade you automatically if everything went well with the initial 'x' number of submissions. At least that's the way it used to work. I wasn't aware you had to apply to be upgraded. - Dean |

Thanks, but I pushed the upgrade account and I received a message where I have to submit points why I should be upgraded.

Yeah, they do ask you to give a reason. I've only done it once, so I'm not an expert, but it worked - all I put was something along the lines of I love writing, and I enjoy researching topics that will help people out on certain subjects. I point out that my first 10 articles were accepted, some with expert status and have already achieved x amount of views, and that I would welcome the opportunity to combine my enjoyment of writing with providing a useful services for others. I don't know how closely they consider it (I see people on there with 60 articles, but still not Platinum), but it worked for me. |

Thanks, that helps - I will try and write reasons from the heart.

I don't think your answer has much to do with being upgraded - as long as none of your first 10 submissions were rejected you shouldn't have a problem. I think I said something similar to sentient though.

If you've screwed up any of the first 10 submissions, it doesn't matter, they'll make you Basic PLUS. You need to get it 'perfect' nowadays to get Platinum after the first 10 submissions.

Has anyone upgraded to the $97 Premium Membership with the "Front of Queue" benefit and 'Scheduled Release Date' feature? I'm wondering if it's worth it? |

I did screw up one of the submissions with too many keywords and eventually I just deleted the article. After taking your guys suggestions I submitted my request and I was upgraded to Basic PLUS. Is this a good thing? |

I've been on Basic Plus for 2 cycles now, the 2nd time they did it automatically. I wouldn't worry about it. As long as you can submit articles, you are fine.

To upgrade you dont need to give fabulous reasons. The thing is article directories need you as much as you need them. It is a symbiotic relationship. Just say you write good articles and you have varied interests. You promise to write more good quality articles for them. |

If you don't get Platinum status, I think you can submit another 10 articles, get your status reviewed again, and so on. | |
