Article marketing, pay per click marketing, forum posting, SEO, Facebook, Twitter, Linked-In... just to name a few.

Write unique, quality content. I'm assuming your doing a review site in which case you should get ranked for things people are already searching for. You should also be submitting articles to article directories for backlinks. In addition to ranking higher in the search engines, you will also get traffic from the sites themseleves. Do forum and blog commenting. Submit your stuff to RSS directories. Make use of social media such as Twitter and the like. Getting traffic is a learned skill and without a doubt the most difficult thing for most marketers to do.

One of the easiest ways that comes to mind given the time of year is learning how to leverage holiday traffic for the upcoming holiday season. The last 3 months of the year are the busiest for many marketers. The cool thing about these kind of traffic is that when people go shopping online during the holidays, they are desperate and in a buying mode. You don't need to sell them on stuff. They are just looking for a place to buy. Also, it's easier to get ranked because there's less competition, which also means you see results faster.

Its really about getting people to your website and having quality material to keep their interests. The typical advice people tell you it.. Just writing quality content, social media and having good SEO is not going to get the word out about your site.
