It's not complex if you're just posting in your local area. If you want to target multiple areas you usually need to use multiple accounts and ip's, and that can be complex if you don't know what you're doing.

You can use Craigslist for many internet marketing purposes. Here's a few ideas:

    • Advertise your website.
    • Advertise your service in the services section.
    • Look for gigs in your area. There's usually many people looking for web design and seo services.
    • Sell items around your house for quick cash.
    • Look in the Freebie section and find some stuff for free, pick it up and then sell it.
    • Look for local JV partners.
Those are just a few ideas, you can get creative with it and use it for even more. The best part about it is it's free. But depending on the area you're in the traffic might be limited. But it's worth a try.

*Quick Tip- I once ran a promotion for my website on Craigslist, and I used an image that looked like a YouTube video. In the ad I said 'Watch the video below' and when people clicked on the image it would take them to my website where the YouTube video was set on autoplay. Had a lot of clickthrus from that.

It depends on what you're trying to do. Are you trying to post an ad for your services that are available - or are you trying to find work through Craigslist? If you're looking for work I recommend looking in the "gigs" section on the bottom right. If you're looking to post an ad, make it interesting and make sure you post it in the right section, otherwise people will ignore it or flag it.

You could outsource craiglist posting. Although I found many scammers in this part of the woods.

    Selling on Craigslist??
Write at least 10 to 20 different ads and save them on your computer. Label them add number 1 thru 20
Create a rotating schedule for ads. The schedule should include the date, name of the market city, the time of day you r placing the ad, and the ad number used.
    For instance:
    Sept 1st, Atlanta, 12pm, ad number 1
Sept 1st, San diego, 1pm, ad number 2
    sept. 1st , Orlando , 2pm , ad number 3
    Sept 1st , Detroit, 3pm, ad number 4
    Etc.
Then the next day would be something like:
    Sept 2nd, Atlanta, 12pm, ad number 10
Sept 2nd, san Diego, 1pm, ad number 11
    Etc etc

The key is to place ads every day, at different times of day, in every market you can. Craig's list has markets all over the world. The ads have to Be completely different, because cl will bump your add if it feels you are repeating the same thing you already have active. If this happens, de-activate your previous days ad and then post your new ad. Try more than one category. Vary your headlines. Make sure any links you post are working properly. Post photos, people like to look at pictures! Maybe a photo of a hundred dollar bill or an exotic car, something people like . Include testimonials. If you put in the effort and hours, you can get free advertising!

Informative response. I wonder if the problem is solved already, as I've noticed it's a year old.
