I have a question for experienced amazon affiliates...

If I am adding a new website to my amazon account, and created a new tracking ID, how do I link the traffic from that new website to the new tracking ID?

Do I just take the AFF LINK it gives me and replace my associates ID with the new tracking ID? I tried this and clicked on the new AFF LINK and this new tracking ID is not showing up under tracking ID reports. (maybe it takes more time to show up?)

Hope this makes sense...

Thanks in advance

The reports on the site update every 24 hours, so yeah, you aren't going to see any results there until tomorrow.

What you're doing should work fine, if I'm understanding you correctly.

You should be able to use the dropdown menu on the side to choose which one you get stats for.

Amazon updates the report every 24 hours so you have to wait to see if your click went through.

If you want to create new links with your new tracking ID, you can follow the instruction on my site here

If you want to change the old links, you just have to replace your old associates ID with your new tracking ID.

    Hope it helps,
    Andrew

PS: Don't forget the -20 (if you are an amazon US associate)

And if you have old links you want to replace you can use "Search and Replace" plug in to find and change them easily.
