Here's How to Change Ugly White WSO Background Images

Have you ever browsed the WSO section of the Warrior Forum and noticed some WSO's have white images on an off white background?

I personally think this can make the offer look unprofessional and it could hurt sales.

If you create WSO's and don't know how to blend in the background images to match the Warrior Forum I have created a quick video that shows you how to do it.

You may want to watch the video on YouTube so you can view it in a larger screen.

I hope this helps you create a more professional looking WSO.

I don't think we even need to watch the video.

Make the background either #F4F4F4 or set the background to transparent png or transparent gif.

OK Bill, we're gonna have a MAJOR showdown ...

I think the background color is F5F5F5

        It is #F5F5F5.

Bill was trying to make the competition look bad. People would look at their WSOs and be like, something's not quite right with this one. Better buy from that Bill Platt guy. His WSOs always look just right somehow.

        Subliminally destroying the competition.

Dan's content is irregularly read by handfuls of people. Join the elite few by reading his blog: dcrBlogs.com, following him on Twitter: dcrTweets.com or reading his fiction: dcrWrites.com but NOT by Clicking Here!

Dan also writes content for hire, but you can't afford him anyway.

Brian: You must either blame it on Dan or my bad memory.

I could of swore that Dan told me F4F4F4...

      You're right, it's a pretty simple fix.

The video is still a nice gesture, especially for people who don't know HOW to do the things you just described. It's also a nice reminder that graphics can have an impact on the perceived value of a WSO.

      Hmm...

      Actually...

I think the best thing for me to do would be to...

Start a new rant thread demanding that Allen change the background on the forum to white so all of the people here don't have to worry about their background color.

      Yes?

      All the best,

Then there would be a counter-rant from those of us who don't want to go back and change our graphics that we designed to match the existing background color of the forum, so as to stand out from those rubes that just used white.

I made the video for people who don't have a clue how to make a transparent png or gif or know what f5f5f5 means.

Telling someone how to do something is one thing, showing them is another.

Awesome post John, I normally just save as a transparent PNG to do this.

    Hey John,

VERY nice of you to take the time to post this.

Just skip over the first reply on this thread and read the ones where people are appreciative of a fellow WP member going above and beyond.

    Thanks!

All this debate for choosing the proper background for WSOs?

    LMAO!

I can see a Photoshop CS5 For Internet Marketers - Make your WSOs look great! on the developing.

Or you could just give Thornhill some credit and move along, your pick!

PS. Not everyone on the web is an Hex Color nerd, just saying...
