A Little Tip On Outsourcing

I've been spending over $100 a day in outsourcing for a little while now and wanted to share 1 pointer...

I know $100 a day is nothing compared to what some on this forum spend, but I think I have 1 key strategy that has allowed me to be more hands-off and accomplish more than most.

It's pretty much outsourcing on autopilot for me...

I kind of stumbled upon the simple tactic on accident.

Last month I hired about 7 different companies/outsourcers for jobs and I was reminded of how unreliable and flaky outsourcers are.

They say they'll be done by a certain date and only a small % of them actually are.

Or they do a good job and you can never get them to do another task for you because they're swamped with work from other people.

The solution?

Once you work with some outsourcers and find one you like, "lock them in."

What I mean is you lock them in with a PayPal subscription that pays daily.

The PayPal subscription pays daily... the outsourcer never has to ask for his/her money, you never have to work out new deals and prices...

The work and payments get done on auto-pilot.

Work gets done daily and I never have to wait on it or bug outsourcers to deliver projects after they said they'd deliver them.

Both sides are happy.

No more headaches.

Seriously... I don't know how it can get any more auto-pilot than that.

Also I've found I can get better-than-bulk rates like this.

My outsourcers are loving getting paid daily and automatically.

They are reliable people and appreciate the reliability of payments.

Anyway... I've never heard of anyone talk about this tactic before anyone and I think it solves A LOT of problems in outsourcing... Thought I'd share it with my favorite marketing community.

I am totally ready to get on your list of preferred vendors.

seriously, I think people who are outsorcerers have the same sort of issues with people who outsource. Many times I've heard providers say, this person never pays on time.. Well, why do you stick with them then? That was one bonus of working through GURU knowing the money was in escrow. Both parties had to be on-board. (I'd still rather be own my own with clients who appreciate good service though.)

So the PayPal subscription pays daily but what if they don't do any work for that day? They still get paid?

Cheers Jason, thats a pretty smooth way to get everybody happy. I've been dealing with outsourcing for some time and I know how difficult it is to get good people on board.

    Kudos my friend!

Sounds like an interesting idea, but I too am wondering about trusting them to work everyday without fail. What if they have an emergency? Or go from being a great freelancer to a lazy *******?
