Hi everyone, I am not sure if I am having a bad day but would like some advice on whether you think I am doing the right thing with my niche. I have one main website (other blogs pointing to it) for my niche currently just making money with adsense from it. I know I have hardly spent near enough time on it to see an increase in traffic, but feel if I did put some serious work into it, I could increase traffic a great deal. This idea came yesterday as I was reading the forums a lot and I realise that my downfall has been (like many other newbies), not being persistent. I was thinking before I concentrate on increasing my traffic I should maybe try and create a product, such as an e-Book. Although I am not convinced my market are buyers or just information seekers. Should I just jump into it though and keep working away until I get the results I want? Ideally, this would be making $1000 in a couple of weeks from the sale of the eBook and increase in adsense. I love reading all the post on here that say you need to be persistant and relentless to make something work. I would love for this to work and feel I have the knowledge to gain more traffic, but there is always that niggling thought at the back of my mind that I could be wasting my time. Thanks in advance. |

Is your audience interested in purchasing an ebook from your niche? A quick and dirty way to check is to do a simple google search on your niche. Do you see google ads? Do you see other products in the search results? If so, you've got competition, and that's a good thing! |

Thanks that is a good point. The product of my niche is very very popular and people are looking to buy this. I was thinking of writing a 'guide to buying' my niche but can not see any competition on this so thats probably answers my question. |

here is what I would do: Check to see if there are other products in your niche Try to promote one that seems like a pretty nice product. That means you would create a very nice landing page prefably a squeeze page and send 1,000,000 visitors to the page. If the product converts well then you are in business. You can now create your own product one that is better than the one you were promoting of course. Note that you would have already have your optin subscribers to launch your product to so you can test conversions and whatever. |

You have the hard part done - you chose a niche, built a site, built blogs - now do something to get traffic to your site every day then add some products to increase the revenue. Don't worry about the big picture of what might happen "if" - just do one task after another and it WILL work. kay | |||
