Where to get buyers to sell in Fiverr Clone?

I'm running a local Fiverr clone and I start to get a lot of sellers but I'm looking for a hell of normal users to buy.

Any ideas or tips ? any general ideas for running such a clone?

Thank you but I didn't mean to sell the clone...

I'm running the clone and not selling it.Members started to join and posted gigs and still no sales so I'm looking for a way to get potential buyers for those gigs

That's part of the trouble Fiverr clones run into.

It's free to post a listing - so no big deal for the seller.

But the buyer has to enter payment info. And since they don't know the reputation of your site, it's a little more dubious.

That's is, if you even have buyers looking at all. You need to get traffic onto the site (just like with any other site.)

It would help if your site was different from Fiverr/other Fiverr-type sites. Then again, they already have clone sites with all sorts of amounts on them - so not sure what you'll do there.

So I'll ask: Is there anything unique about your site?

@Danielle it is considered the first one in the region with local language. No competitors

The fact that it has no competitors is irrelevant. What Danielle was accurately pointing out is that it may not have any traffic at all.

Are you promoting the site to potential buyers, and if so how are you doing it? Have you been monitoring your traffic statistics?

Have you determined that there is even a market for this type of website in your region? And if there is, what are the market demographics and what are you doing to reach out to them?

The trust factor is another thing, who are you using as a payment processor?

I know that I've answered your question with a series of questions, however I think that if you answer these you will get some better responses. Also, by answering some of them your solution may very well suggest itself.

    That's the tough part.
You can start a little affiliate program, each member that refer someone gets a reward whenever the referral buys something. A lot of freelance websites running such programs and have been successful with this.
The thing is, I don't know how well it will work on a Fiverr clone..

@Nickname, actually I thought of this but it needs in my opinion to have a good pool of 100-200 members to start the affiliate program

    hi wadboram,

I do run a site like fiverr too.

My advice is advertise for your gigs, google is great place to get buyer,

If your country is familiar with fiverr, then it is your lucky day, because you can target people from your country through google, local gig sites get a lower competition.

One more thing, try to advertise offline, flyers would help you
