How Much Would You Pay TO Learn Every Thing About Online Marketing?

I see a lot of products that hit the market that only teach you
one or two things about online marketing and most them crazy prices
attached to them.

So how much would you pay to learn every thing about online marketing?

If it would make me millions I would pay $100K for it.

Send me $100k and I'll start researching and put a course package together for you.

Dan's content is irregularly read by handfuls of people. Join the elite few by reading his blog: dcrBlogs.com, following him on Twitter: dcrTweets.com or reading his fiction: dcrWrites.com but NOT by Clicking Here!

Dan also writes content for hire, but you can't afford him anyway.

If I buy a book that teaches me JUST one or two things about online marketing that I never thought about implementing prior to, then I am happy to discover such materials at "crazy prices" that you might be describing (which I am not sure how much). But crazy price for someone maybe $97 and for others may be $2000.

I can't put price on knowledge, so I can't tell exactly how much I'd pay for online marketing.

Somethings I can only learn through experience and I can never pay anyone to teach me on my behalf because that's priceless.

Neither will I ever ask anyone publicly "what's the best way to make money online?" "what's the best way to generate leads?"

If they share, I'd read and listen whether it's free or paid.

I won't commit my life for a hundred million.... seriously, money is important only upto a point... and selling a lifetime commitment for $100K is selling diamonds for pennies.

    Hi DH,

I'm coming at this from a few different angles.

    1. It's virtually impossible to write such a product, because the Internet is always changing. However, you could keep providing endless updates that stay on top of the latest developments, and there are forums that already do that.

    2. One reason products like this are not done is that people are at differnt levels. I wouldn't want a guide that covers all of the stuff I already know, and someone who is brand new may get overwhelmed if they read the whole guide before they begin. This could be solved by releasing it in modules based on experience, but that is already being done, too.

    3. Covering everything would be difficult. How precise would it be? Would you cover outsourcing? Copywriting? AdSense? AdWords? Other content networks? Forum marketing? Blogs? Choosing content for a site? Selecting a host? Traffic exchanges? FFAs? Safelists? Bum marketing? How to proofread articles? and on and on and...

Now, I'm not saying it's a bad idea, just that I'm not sure how you would pull it off. Anyway, I wouldn't pay very much, because I would assume the claim of "Learn EVERYTHING About Internet Marketing" would set off my hype detector.

    All the best,
    Michael

$1500... cuz that's what I have each month as my learning budget! That's the most I can spend in any given month... Irrespective of what I earn.

Instead of paying a lot to learn about every aspect of IM, what I did was pay someone a lot to learn one proven IM business model inside and out.

Think about it. Would you rather know a little about a lot of methods that *could* work, or would you rather know everything about one method that *does* work?

There are an infinite number of ways to make money online. You could spend a lifetime trying to learn them all. Instead choose one that's proven and put everything into it.

Jason, I think I've spent at least $100k over the years, and developed a fairly comprehensive knowledge of Internet marketing and business in general. But consider 4 things:

    1. No one has all the answers, so it's ideal to learn from a lot of different people, perspectives, etc.

    2. There's always more to learn, so spending $100k now won't necessarily give you what you need for later. Chances are you will need to keep on investing in your education;

    2. It's not what you *know* that matters... it's what you DO. If you spend $100 and take action, you will be far better off than spending $100k and just getting an education; and

    4. Following on from the third point - and building on something I heard Rich Schefren say recently - someone who is RESOURCEFUL will beat someone who has a lot of resources any day.

In other words, acquiring greater knowledge is great, but you will be much better off developing the skills of asking the right questions, coming up with creative problems to difficult problems, and finding out what you need and how to get it in the ABSENCE of some step-by-step guide. Especially when, as in most business situations, there is NO step-by-step guide to help you.

Think of the most successful entrepreneurs on the planet - especially those who came from very humble backgrounds - and ask yourself: was it resources or resourcefulness that helped them get to where they are?

Maybe this might sounds stupid or arrogant but what about giving them a commission off the work they taught you to do in the first place. I know I can't be the only none believer in this whole massive world of warriors. But why have I never seen anything stating something in the form of (hey I will show you the ropes however I am taking 70% of the revenue for the first 6 months? Are my ideas way off base here?

Education can only take you so far...

Action is where the money is at. Why pay for knowledge that you can figure out for free by taking action. Basic knowledge is ok, but people need to take action or all the knowledge of the world will not help you.

Really, focusing on one thing and taking action on that is much more important that just trying to learn everything about marketing. There is only so much information and knowledge you can use in a real-life situation.

Spending the next 25 years learning everything about IM isn't going to get you very far

    Kind Regards
