Direct deposit payments from Clickbank

There's a payment option on the Clickbank website where they allow direct deposits to your bank account after you have recieved 2 paper checks. Just wondering if anyone has taken up this direct deposit option? And if so does your bank charge you a fee to have these funds deposited into your account.

I spoke to Westpac bank (I'm in Australia) and they said I'd be up for a $12 fee for each overseas bank deposit.

Since I've never heard of this fee, I was hoping someone could confirm if they get charged too. Thanks in advance.

I have been using that direct deposit option for many years and my bank never charged a fee. Can't speak for Australia though.

I'm in Aus and there's no fees at all. Been using it for a year or so now.Sure beats crazy international cheque fees.

I get weekly direct deposits from clickbank for years now...and they have ALWAYS paid on time with no fee.
But its up to the bank itself if they charge the fee...Maybe check with a different bank.

I am from the UK so would also have the potential of charges when receiving USD payments.

The good news is that Clickbank convert it to my local currency (GBP) before transferring, so I don't get any fees at all. Clickbank is one of the best affiliate networks for the way they pay out in that respect.

The first two cheques were a bit of a pain, but the payments are no hassle now.

I think there'll be thousands of people here who get paid that way by ClickBank.

Mine doesn't; but it's a European bank, rather than an Australian one, which might be different?

Well, that's going to cost you over $300 per year, assuming regular payments ... so you need to decide whether it's worth either opening a new bank account in another bank to avoid that (if that's available?), or writing to the manager of your existing bank explaining that they may lose a customer if they won't waive that charge for you, because XYZ Bank doesn't charge for it and that's going to save you over $300 per year. (It does sometimes turn out that banks have some discretionary powers and are willing to negotiate bank charges - just a thought).

    Good luck.

    • I know this post is a little old, but I thought I'd share my experience. I myself live in Australia and get my clickbank payments through direct deposit to Westpac bank - and I get no charges - absolutely none! I am loving this. For this simple fact, Clickbank is by far my favourite affiliate programs. No doubt about it!

Have to agree, I am in Australia and have had payments going into my westpac business account for 4 years from clickbank, no extra charge on top of their regular monthly "account keeping fee".
