Is it worth buying a fiverr to create 250 likes on an article that talks about my product?

There are a few articles on the net, product reviews, that positively talk about my product. Is it worth buying a fiverr to artificially add likes to these articles?

I already used a fiverr for 250+ likes and it works. For example one of the articles is on hubpages. Will this makes the product itself more appealing?

I stay the heck away form anything like that, although I'd be much more likely to cheat facebook than I would Google.

Eh... like Johnny suggested, I'd stay away from the 'fake like' gigs.

It's unlikely to help in any noticeable way.

Not to mention it being a deceptive way to 'promote' your product.

Short answer: No. But if it makes you feel better go ahead and spend your money on fiverr. You would be making someone else richer than you are now.

How often do people looking to buy a product check the number of likes to see if it is legit? "Oh da dah, if I buy this product it will solve my problem. But the likes are not enough to convince me to buy. But my problem will not be solved, oh dear."

People buy things to make their lives better or solve problems. How is creating artificial likes going to create interest in your product when people want a solution.

If you already know it works why are you asking?

I wanted to make clear that I know I will get the 250 clicks. What I do not know is if the likes will somehow boost an article. Like make it more valuable in some sense. You know how you visit an article and it has, say, 3 likes and that is a reflection of its value, but you visit another and you see 2,000 likes and you are like, wait a minute...peer pressure.

Facebook likes aren't going to produce traffic to an article. Sorry.

Also, you said one of them is on hubpages - HA good luck getting away with that one.

I build backlinks to a hub and they remove it for "improper promotion"

    Such a joke. lol
