I'm trying to write articles to generate more leads.

I write for a exotic car directory site similar to this one:

In a nutshell, people go to this website, plug in their location, find a local car rental facility and rent a car. However, not everyone visiting the site isn't ready to take action. This is my problem / question.

My initial purpose is to write keyword rich content that will deliver targeted visitors to the website. Here is my problems / questions.

How can I generate more leads with my articles?

What goals and objectives should I focus on when writing my articles?

What are some realistic actions I should expect from my visitors after they read the article?

    Your questions are broad.

    At the least you should remember the followings-

    1. Unique content.

    2. keyword rich content

    3. You are writing for the people who need cars for rent. What would you do if you were looking for rent a car in your locality?- Search google, call a friend, call your mobile phone helpdesk......etc.. and what answers would you expect?- Addressess and benefits. right?......I hope it'll help you think something out.

    4. I'll tell you a shortcut- Research on your competitor sites. Follow their leads. Try to understand their target audience and how they are managing them. I mean the substances and keywords of their posts.

    5. Before building your site and write your posts and/or articles, you should decide your target audience. You should know the actions of your target audience and then take action accordingly. Then only your audience may do what you expect them to do. Reasearch is the only way.

    Your goal is simple - you need to draft an article that has a strong call to action. I'd use impulse or need based words like "now" or "fast".
    Like CopyNazi said though I'd do some research into it first, especially if you plan on outsourcing it so you can give explicit instructions.
    If you have a strong CTA and the people on your article or whatever are in the buying process, tell them what to do in your Resource Box, or throw it in at the end if you use a site that allows links in the article like Triond.

    Use a strong call to action and rank the articles for keywords like "rent exotic car cheap", for example.

    You will get better quality traffic by doing this. Therefore, a higher conversion rate and more leads.
