Today I got the following message from Twitter.

Twitter is over capacity.
Too many tweets! Please wait a moment and try again.

So I waited and tried a bit later. I got this message.

Something is technically wrong.
Thanks for noticing--we're going to fix it up and have things back to normal soon.

Anybody else having trouble?

Dan's content is irregularly read by handfuls of people. Join the elite few by reading his blog: dcrBlogs.com, following him on Twitter: dcrTweets.com or reading his fiction: dcrWrites.com but NOT by Clicking Here!

Dan also writes content for hire, but you can't afford him anyway.

I have twitter on all day and night and have yet to see any type of message of that nature. How weird.

Then again, perhaps it depends on how many you are following and/or are following you? I have under 500 of each ... *shrugs*

Happens to me a couple of times a day, typically.

Best solution is to simply reload your page!

(But hey, atleast there's a cute little whale when the site goes over capacity )

HAH! I blame Dana for this with her Twitter WSO tweeting away! ;-)

Actually, like everything else on the 'net, there are certain times of the day or usage cycles when everyone piles into certain places and it slows it all down for a few moments. Like the Superbowl flush. Try again!
