How do the holidays affect your sales.

Hi All

Christmas is just 84 days away and I was wondering how the holidays affect your sales. (unless you are in the niche that is)

Do you see a rise in sales around this time as people look to earn extra money to cover the cost?

Do they drop off quite a lot over the christmas period?

How long before they start to pick up again?

    Lots of niches go down, but the good thing about the holiday season is that there are plenty of products to promote in a variety of different niches. The holidays aren't just one niche. For instance, you have toys, but you also have computers and electronics (really expensive, big commissions, can cross promote stuff), video games (can cross promote expensive game systems), and things you would normally give as gifts.

    The learn guitar niche is popular. Here, you can cross promote expensive guitars. You can promote clothing/fashion. People are looking for love and lose weight before and after the holidays. The list goes on and on. The trick to cashing in on the holiday season is positioning yourself in the search engines for products that are going to be popular before the holidays get here. During the holidays, people are usually very desperate and looking for a place to buy since the hot stuff sells out at local stores.

      Most niches have a natural rise in the holidays, or there are brand new niches that are extremely hot...because they know what they are doing by releasing their product around the holidays!

      There is massive potential for affiliates during the holidays!

    If you think your niche might be dropping off in the next 84 days, I would say start putting your efforts in a niche that will be hot in the next 84 days...
