help finding a specific wordpress plugin for sale

Hi everyone,
I recall a couple of months ago seeing promotions for a particular WP

plugin. What it did, if I recall correctly, was that it let you easily install any of the 100+ freely-available plugins in the WP library. I think maybe it showed you was the most popular plugins by category and then let you install them all at one pass.

Assuming it was a WSO, does someone remember what it was called? I've searched but can't find it.

Thanks!

Why would any normal blogger install 100+ plugins...?

Don't install plugins for the sake of having plugins.

Can you define clearly what (how many) additional features you need in a specific blog? You only have to install plugin(s) for that. Nothing else.

      Hi

He didn't say it would install 100 plugins, he said it would let you select from 100+ plugins available from WP.

It sounds like a 3rd party interface to WP plugins with added features to provide more info.

    100+ from wp.org?

    there are 16,490 plugins there
(it's true, that number is also more than 100)

It is still a clutter: you can already search the plugins database from wp.org from inside your admin panel. What's the point to have one more plugin to search/install the plugins?

No, you cannot convince me that it is useful. It's idiotic...

      Hi Istvan,

I know you're "the man" when it comes to WP and I always value your practicality. Yes, there are thousands of plugins easily searchable but I think this plugin essentially aggregated the top x plugins in each of many categories.

To your point, I passed on it when I saw it because I didn't think it would add too much value to me.

Now, I'm thinking about it from a different perspective, which was that maybe it could be a minor valuable service to sell to others, hosting plus wordpress setup plus some key plugins. I'm trying to start out in offline services and this might be a foot in the door. And this little tool would make things just a bit easier/routine/process-driven, that's all. (I could even give people a bit of a menu to choose from). I would use it for a one-time load, then take it off.

      Anybody else remember?
