Warriors - watch me go from 0 to minimum wage

In the beginning: (can skip the boring history)

This time last year i left my full-time job and went part-time - studying IM. Now, there's ALOT to take in, I made around 40 sales last year, just testing the water. I became overwhelmed by the contradiction of posters on the forums, which is the right method? i kept searching for the golden ticket...

The clickbank posts everywhere made me lost motivation.. but its time to fight back.

The plan: hit 3 big niches - reach $50 a day by end of march.

the sites:
Joomla frontend with a wordpress kicker. (+aweber lead collection)

The traffic:
Article marketing, video marketing, socialbooking and web 2.0 pages

the income:
Clickbank, Amazon

So, there we have it, a simple collection of the warriors methods - but now with action!

Hidden agenda - I don't want to take a wage from the profits this year - I want to reinvest every dollar earned. The skies the limit right?

Im already 15 days behind in this challenge because of sickness and fiddling around with joomla - but i do have some keywords and sites prepared.

Warriors - watch me go from 0 to minimum wage - in 75 days. I'm going to put an end to these article marketing and clickbank myths, once and for all!

Any feedback on my methods etc would be appreciated - i'll post my results often.

Good on you Jason - you're already doing the best things - taking action and remove distractions from searching for the pot of gold.

I think you're off to a good start, because you're taking action and learning!

I wouldn't bother with amazon since they don't pay as much and I would also try focusing on one method of traffic for now to keep your momentum up.

Here's a tip: control your links.

Always cloak your affiliate links? Why? it may increase click % and also gives you global control over your links.

Open notepad and paste this: (with your id and product ids) remove X

Code:

  <meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="0; url=httXp://clickbankID.product1.hop.clickbank.net/">
</body></html>

Save as name.html - upload to server. (yourdomain.com/name.html)

Now, when you use your afflicate link in posts, web 2.0, videos and viral reports - use your redirect. (yourdomain.com/name.html)

You can switch in and out of campaigns to different products in 1 minute - perhaps switching to your own product later down the line.

why limit yourself to Clickbank?

I would search for affiliate programs that also pay immediate cash. Sid Hale posted elsewhere to search Google for "powered by Rapid Action Profits" or "powered by RAP" for affiliate programs.
Then you can make immediate cash to your PayPal account. If you do that as well as Clickbank, I believe you can get there in less than 75 days, my friend.

Good luck with this challenge. This has been my goal since I started IM in 2008, all I want to do is reach the minimum wage level so my friends and family will see that it is possible to make money from IM and that I am not just waisting my time.

I agree with those who said don't bother with amazon. Very small commissions, its hard to make a profit with.

I've put together a free report and configured aweber.
Written 5 'mini' landing pages.
'played' with joomla (it's a tough cookie)
2 ezinearticles

Unfortunately i have to work this evening. Tomorrows a big day - going for 18 articles, if there's time left i'll rewrite them for blog posts.

Wow - great tip with the 'powered by' searches - i didn't know this, ill try it when searching out the next niches - thanks!

Yeah, many aiming high on this forum - which isn't a problem, but i want to walk before running.

Keep at it Oscar - and try to reinvest your profits, other wise its just like a job (with capped income)

Why not leaving Joomla out for the moment and using WordPress exclusiv?

I like amazon, been using them for years. You get more money than with adsense, and are not constantly afraid of being banned.

Amazing amazon has all kinds of products, and the %returns is much lower than clickbank. There are many other AFF programs out there to check. Try also commision junction. Be careful with smaller affiliates as some do not want to cut a check. They will find reasons to ban you when you get near the payout.
