Is there any easy way to search Utube?

Just like the title says. Is there an easy way to search for videos on u-tube? Some free software or anything that helps? When I search for videos on you tube a lot of the time I get stuff that has nothing to do with what I am searching for. I figure there has got to be an easier way.

For example...lets say I want to find videos on wood working or funny pet videos or how to make a dog house etc. What ever....there has got to be something that will list a bunch of vids that are easy to look at or see? Anyway I have been searching and cant find anything.

I am looking for videos that I can put on some blogs that match the content of the blog.

Anyone with an idea?

    You'd probably get better results searching through Google.

    Type these into Google:

    site:youtube.com "wood working"
    site:youtube.com "funny pet"
    site:youtube.com "how to make a dog house"

    You can include multiple keywords:
    site:youtube.com "keyword 1" "keyword 2" "keyword 3"

    And even exclude certain keywords:
    site:youtube.com "keyword1" -"exclude this keyword"

    Sometimes I'll find a bunch of crap videos from the same user. So all you have to do is:
    site:youtube.com "keyword" -"username"

    Then you could also use advanced search options to search by date published. Hope that helps.

    Edit: Just realized those same searches will probably work in YouTube too. Just exclude the site:youtube.com.
