How to make money from 100k+ local graduates data

Hi guys,

I have access to hundreds of thousand of graduates data from local universities. All data from name, address, email, phone numbers, course taken, year of graduation etc.

Can you give me an outline ideas how could I make money from this?

    1) sell it as wso (That is a joke fyi)

    2) Create info product regarding how to get better jobs. Start sending some small number of marketing message via sms. Dont blast them otherwise, you will face some tough penalties.

    3) You can also become middleman and try to find cpa companies, whose target market is graduates. Try to get their manager on phone and talk to them. They might be more interested. Then, also it depend what kind of details you got.

      Thats cool man!

      Forgot to mention these graduates are from Malaysian U. I am not
      aware of any CPAs that target malaysian market.

      Any other suggestion is appreciated.

      I say that's doubtful lol. Only way it would be legal is if they joined his list or something but I don't know the law in Malaysia.

        Definitely.. you think I broke the campuses' vaults to steal this and then don't know what to do with it? lol..

        Without disclosing too much, this databases was used for convocation services by product supliers (offline biz registered with these U's). Now they don't know what to do with it and asked my opinion.

        I have few ideas in mind but would love to catch other great warriors' ideas :p

    I would go for cheapie products(create your own, or affiliate market) regards to how to get scholarship, or educational related products via SMS promotion.

    Wow, what Uni in Malaysia is that that has a 100K graduate list? Or do you mean this is a list of all the students since the Uni opened up?

    I would be interested if you had the contacts- but unfortunately, that list does not belong to you right?

    There are public Alumni lists for most US Universities. I consider these to be the same as any other phone book or directory. A long time ago, I made some emergency cash going through the property tax info in my county in Arizona. I was able to find which houses had pools (it was in the public data) and I turned that information into a list that I sold to local pool companies.

    Just a note: some counties have very clear rules that the information found in the list is not to be sold under any circumstances. Mine didn't.

    Try that. Find local businesses such as résumé writers, recruiters, interview coaches, etc. and provide that list to them at a charge per name. Offer it on preprinted mailing labels for a premium. These people might have loans they have to pay? Maybe they need insurance or financial guidance? Contact insurance agents and financial advisors with your list.

    Just a thought. It did work for me on a small scale.

      Pretty sure however you got this list , its not legit, unless you own and operate this uni. Use a CPA offer, see if it has a good conversion and if it doesnt , sell the list.
      but seriously thou you should delete this thread , however you got this list is sketchy
