You can get a rough idea with alexa, eg:

    Warriorforum.com Site Info

Click on Traffic Stats, then check out the various tabs Traffic Rank, Pageviews, etc.

  • You need Google Analytics. This give you all information about your site traffic. the number of visitors a day, where they come from, from which link, their location, the time spent on your site

Wow, so many people commenting without reading!

Google Analytics will not help you analyze competitor traffic at all.

You can only use Google Analytics on web sites you own.

To analyze competitor websites, use Google Trends Websites

      trends.google.com/websites

Enter the URL and Google will give traffic and other information about a web site. Like Alexa, their may not be a lot of data for small web sites.

compete.com is also a paid solution, but I have never used it so can't attest to what information and data it gives.

Google Analytics is fine, I personally using getClicky and Siteometer on two different websites.

I used to use google analytics, but u don't get life tracking on google, it take up to a day to find out who is it going. While on these sites it show you how many users are online rights now and how they came to your website.

Hi, you can use Google Analytic or Histats.
Histats is easier and faster than Google Analytic

One of the best and most powerful free web analytics tools to track your website visitors is Statcounter.com. Not only you can get all the basic metrics like page views and unique visitors, but you can set up goals so you can measure conversion rates. Many people use google analytic also, this is also not bad to use, as google is very very well managed again in terms of analytics.

For checking on sites i do not own, I use Alexa. But for super niche markets, with relatively low traffic, Alexa usually does not have much data. I havent explored other tools though - they sound interesting!

  • Google Analytic is one of the best way to know it. Perhaps, if there is some kind of high traffic or slightly low traffic website, if can be best to know your traffic from Quancast.com, it got everything you want there. Cool isn't it?
