Hey Warriors,

I was wondering if there are any of you who've ever contacted a product owner in order to purchase resale rights to their product?

any success?

If you are a product owner, what points would you like to hear that would make you sale the rights?

Thanks In Advance for any tips

ALSO

if you have ever had a product created, do you have any recommendations of a good service?

As a vendor Im not sure Id consider it, but I guess its a model that must work. The price would have to be right though.

If the product is a information product with active links in it i would suggest that nothing in the book is changed and the original author's name stays on the book

That is a really good idea! I would have no problem doing that.

I have tried it before and the vendor told me it was still profitable for him and he had no plans on selling it. . . I just figured there are certain points to touch on that may convince them.

How would you determine price though?

If Im selling an info product that makes $900 a month, how do you then determine the resale rights?

That is a good question, I would not know what to offer them.

I would tell them that the rights would only allow me to sell the product but I could not sell the rights to it.

If I had no idea of how much the product made them per month, I would start off at 3x the products selling price.

If you are selling in the health niche, dont you need a special license to operate even if you are just selling ?

Anyway, overlooking that, lets answer your question: There is individuals who sell their license privately even if they have not posted publicly. You got to contact them and ask.

Some day you get rejected, some days you have people who are willing to sell. But dont expect a "cheap price" though- It can cost a pretty bunch depending on the rarity of the resale license getting sold.
