Article Syndication WITHOUT Author Credit - Here's How You Can STILL Benefit From It

So, it happened.

Your work got plagiarized. That content piece you sweated and slaved over was
scraped, re-published and syndicated across many dozens of sites... but they
left out your author resource box.

And the link back to your website!

What the #&$@!

What a shame.

What a waste!

Before you go ballistic, here's something that may cheer you up.

Do some small things smart, and you'll stop worrying about this ever again.

1. Make subtle references to your business, website, and other online activities
within the content of your article. (e.g. "One of my copywriting mentorship
clients once asked me, Dr.Mani, how should I craft killer headlines")

2. Include your name (and maybe contact details) within the content sub-liminally.
(e.g. "Here's a sample you may use - From: Dr.Mani, EzineMarketingCenter.com
- re: Intelligently Syndicating Your Content")

3. Describe yourself or your business in unique terms or phrases that are
referenced on your website (e.g. I call myself "The Internet Infopreneur"
- and when you Google it, I'm on the SERPs)

4. Work your USP into the content of your syndicated articles (e.g. "I teach
writers and authors how to 'Turn Words Into Wealth - Easily'
)

So, how does all of this help?

If your article/content is of overwhelming value to a HUMAN reader (and that's
the kind you're targeting through content syndication, right?), then that reader
will SEARCH YOU OUT - provided they believe it's worth doing so.

And they'll do it even if your contact details are not on the article they read!

Last week, I read an excellent article on a newspaper's website about domestic
abuse. The author's name was mentioned, without any links. I could easily
track down more details from a simple search, connect with her on Twitter,
and send an email of appreciation (which she promptly replied to).

If I'll take the time to do it just for an informative article that was of passing
interest, imagine how much more effort I'll put into the search if I believed
there was much more value to be gained by tracking down the author!

So start making yourself 'easy to find' through your content.

Then, get syndicated widely - without caring a hoot about author resource
boxes and back links!

All success
Dr.Mani

    Great advice, A-Z.

I do this often, but not as often as I should.

    I like this great idea.

Just may be hard to do for every single article that one writes ...

    Great advice.

I have had lots of my content scraped and posted in all kinds of sites with my resource box removed.

    I have been extremely frustrated!

I will start referencing myself in future articles.

And I may start re-writing some of my older content. This is such a subtle mehtod that will gently nudge readers into the right direction.

    Excellent.

    Just what the Doctor ordered!
