The 1 thing that turned my list from $17/day into $123/day

I have been doing some pretty sweet experiments and marketing campaigns using ad swaps and a lot of the bulk lower quality traffic sources lately.

I'm about 65 days in to the experiment and a huge change occurred at about day 30 that made my daily income jump from less than $17 to nearly $150 from this single list....every single day since I made the change.

The experiment has consisted of my building a brand new IM list using only Adswaps and giveaways. Now, I'm doing something I never do and I'm setting up at least 1 ad swap or giveaway everyday.

If you've done these before, you know that a lot of these ventures can be a huge waste of your time and sometimes can actually hurt your list.

I wanted to test how the pros might out weigh the cons of a system like this... heavy promotions with less quality content. Lots of people make money using a high list turn around... I've never tried until now, but I can see why people do it.

The first 45 days, I was just doing adswaps everyday. I would send the subscribers to a blog post 2-3 times a week, but that was it for quality content.... pretty crappy, I know... but this was the experiment.

This caused my daily subscriber rate to grow tremendously. I added about 1800 subscribers in this 45 days. But the clicks from each email never really grew that much.

I average just under $17 a day this first month. All of these sales came from one time offers and a small downsell subscribers saw right after opt in.

I had 2 promo offers later in the follow up series, but by the time they got to them, my subscribers were worn out by all the ad swaps. So, my income from this heavy ad swap list was only from that day's subscribers.

At day 45, I made the change that made the income go from a puny $17 to over $100 per day. I started sending QUALITY CONTENT.... lots of it.

Instead of just sending ad swaps, I started to send at least 1 video and 1 report a day as well. 3 emails a day for me was a lot. I always like to keep it to a 1/day email max... but not for this list.

This quality content caused my list to keep opening my emails everyday. I never stopped doing 1 ad swap per day. They still get these swap emails, but they don't mind as much because they know that the next email is probably going to be gold.

Within the first 10 days, my income tripled. People were actually making it to the follow up emails with my product promotions in them... and they were buying... because they liked my content! These products were the normal pricing too... most the earlier offers were special offers. So my profit from each sale was 2-3x as much.

Not only did the quality content help my income by adding more sales, but it caused all my ad swaps to create more clicks... in the ad swap world, the more clicks you send the more clicks you get. So, from day 45 on, my average ad swap has more than doubled and my daily subscriber rate for this list is at almost 150/day right now.

Like I mentioned above, I'm just over 2 months into this experiment, but it has shown clear results already.

Even if you want to email your list a lot every day, as long as you send quality content, they will listen.

This month, I'm going to ramp up my emails to 5-6 a day to see how it goes. 2 ad swaps a day, plus 4 quality emails.
